Description & Location

This luxurious lodge opened in October 2009. Here, you will find stylish and luxurious accommodation facilities for a family holiday or vacation with friends in world-famous Zermatt. The lodge offers four spacious holiday apartments for groups of 4 or 8 people or larger groups, as you require. The entire lodge with 24 beds can also be exclusively rented. Old, sun-weathered larch wood and quarrystone were tastefully used on the façade of the lodge. The staircase and elevator are located in the open access balcony. State-of-the-art technical facilities, cheminée (open fireplace), black marble, classy panga panga wood, parquet floors, quarrystone walls and lots of light define the interior of the holiday apartments.

There are two apartments with 5.5 rooms. Both have 4 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a salon, a kitchen, dining-table, washer and dryer. There are also two 3.5 room apartments. Both have 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a salon, a kitchen and a dining-table.

Location and Travel

Landscape typical of the high alpine region, 300 days of sun per year, Matterhorn and the highest skiing area of the Alps – Zermatt offers all of these. Moreover, Zermatt has been car-free since 1947. This luxury holiday home is located in a sunny and quiet spot in the neighborhood of Winkelmatten.

The Lodge offers unrestricted views of the Matterhorn from every holiday apartment. Within ten minutes, you can reach the skiing region by bus. The closest restaurant and food-store can be reached on foot. Children can enjoy themselves on the playground close by.

You can reach Zermatt from the airports of Geneva-Cointrin, Milan-Malpensa and Zurich-Kloten by train in around 3 hours. The trip from Bern takes 2 hours and the trip from Basel should take 3 hours, 15 minutes.

Sion (Sitten), which is 70 km from Zermatt, can be reached by air from several European cities. Zermatt features a Heliport which is serviced by Air Zermatt. By car, you can travel as far as Täsch, and then travel on to Zermatt (5 km) by train or by taxi.
