Description & Location

This house with its unusual architecture is a veritable frame for the panoramic views of the imposing mountain landscape of the surrounding Silvretta. The house offers three identical accommodation units, which differ merely in their size. Each accommodation unit is composed of two to three bedrooms, depending on the size.

Each accommodation unit lies on two floors. On the entry level there are two spacious bedrooms with couches and adjoining bathrooms with showers and WC. The rooms have ceiling-high glass windows, thereby inviting nature into the building. The living space in the upper floor is composed of a large living, cooking and dining area.

The smaller panoramic bedroom with a small bathroom offering a shower and WC can be reached via the sun terrace.

From the living space there are wonderful views of the fascinating Paznaun alpine landscape with its numerous peaks above 3000m.

On entry level, a lawn for sunbathing invites you to relax. From here, the sauna and wellness area with wonderful views of the village center is easily reachable.

Ecologic issues where paramount when choosing the materials and energy carriers. The house is constructed mainly on a self-supporting wooden structure with a slate façade, slate floors and larch wood paneling indoors. Heating is provided using a geothermic pump, and electricity is generated through hydropower.

Location and Travel

Kappl is located in the mountain region of the surrounding Silvretta. It has its own small skiing area, but is also not far from Ischgl/ Samnaun.

- take highway exit Pians/Paznaun/Silvretta
- follow road B 188 to Kappl/Lochau
