Ganischger Alm

The alpine hut Ganischger Alm (2045 m) is a beloved scene meeting-place for ski-freaks and sun-adorers. Here you can enjoy tasty and hearty dishes in good companionship or you can dance to hot rhythms and cool drinks under the ski-umbrella.

The Latemar chair-lift brings you to Ganischger Alm hut in summer and winter.

Baita Gardoné

At an altitude of 1700 m, Baita Gardoné offers you a fantastic flair with a Riviera lounge and palm trees. The big sun-terrace with its marvellous view gives you the opportunity to enjoy your glass of wine or culinary bites. A beach-volley game with view on the Dolomites or different kinds of fashion-events make the stay on this hut a unique event.

Summer Sports

Golf

As one of the founding hotels of the golf court “Petersberg” with 18 holes, the hotel can offer a lot of advantages to its guests, e.g. a 20% discount on the green fee. The wonderful court is perfectly integrated in the landscape and is at a distance of about 10 min.

You can find another 9 hole court at Karersee, situated just under the enormous mountain Rosengarten at an altitude of 1.750 m. This court offers an unforgettable landscape beside athletic highlights (distance is about 25 min.).

Hiking and Nordic Walking

The area Rosengarten-Latemar offers you unforgettable hiking paths and climbing routs at every level of difficulty. Klaus and Georg accompany guests 2 to 3 times a week to hiking trips and organize a sunrise trip once a week. After getting up (2/3 hours before sunrise), guests are driven with our bus to the Ganischger Alm and from there the hiking tour starts to the Fuedopass. After the spectacular nature event, a strong and tasty breakfast is waiting for you at the Ganischger Alm.

Mountain Biking

As a partner hotel of Krauti`s mountain bike academy, the hotel offers its guests the participation in unforgettable accompanied bike tours through the Dolomites, for beginners as well as for professionals. Guests are accompanied from locals and tested guides in different ability groups, through the wonderful Rosengarten and Latemar area.

Of course the guide is also happy to plan an individual route with you, a bike tour or a bike week, planned according to your wishes and desires. Should you require it, the hotel can offer the proper equipment as well.

Motorbike and Convertibles

The passes of the Dolomites are a dream you must live. For oldtimers, convertibles and motorbikes, the hotel has a very special program with the most beautiful trips in it. A guide can accompany you to the nicest places over the passes in the Dolomites. There is a secure garage in the hotel and if you should need it, mechanic is at hand to repair your vehicle.

During the „Eggentaler Herbst Classic“ you can experience the thrilling and pleasurable challenge with the hotel’s route planners.

Oldtimers

Unforgettable adventures and emotions are offered by the panorama trips through marvelous landscapes on steep pass streets, on which the hotel accompanies and supports guests. In October, the yearly organized classic rally ”Eggentaler Herbst Classic” takes place.
The track leads you through the beautiful mountain world of the Dolomites and through the valleys of South-Tyrol. The most important trips of the classic rally are the Grödnerjoch, the Pordoijoch, St. Ulrich, Canazei and of course the wine street.

Winter Sports

Downhill Skiing

It takes just a few minutes with the Ski-bus, starting right in front of the Hotel – and you are in the Ski-Centre Latemar, one of the most beautiful ski-areas of the ski-circus
“Dolomiti Superski”. 60 km of well prepared tracks and the very modern chair-lifts invite you to have an unforgettable ski-pleasure. Because of an optimal snow conditions, perfect tracks are guaranteed all through the winter.

Snowboarding

In the Ski-Centre Latemar, snowboarders and freestylers can live it up. The prize awarded Snow-park with its half-pipe, a lot of kicks and other challenges, does not leave open any wishes.

Cross-Country Skiing

Deutschnofen-Passo Lavazé is a paradise for cross-country skiers too. With 50 km of marvelous, well prepared slopes through an astonishing beautiful winter landscape of the Dolomites, cross-country skiers and nature lovers can just enjoy it.

Other winter sports

Also for people who do not ski, the region has a broad offer for snow hiking, going with a sledge or ice-skating and a lot of other things - here everything is possible. The hotel is pleased to organize your equipment.
