In the Bavarian Alps not far from Garmisch-Partenkirchen, “THE KRANZBACH”, which opened in
May 2007, is a first-class hotel offering a maximum of peace and quiet to its guests. The hotel is
situated on a huge sunny plateau in a romantic valley and surrounded by meadows, forests and
mountains. It is only accessible over a private toll road. Time is not important there, but nature
defines the rhythm of life. The stunning view of the amazingly close “Zugspitze”, Germany’s highest
mountain, puts the dimension of ones own problems into perspective. Thoughts clear in the fresh
air, the mind sobers. Whoever engages in the treatment of “THE KRANZBACH”, will start to hear
his/her inner voice again. In the middle of the amazing wonders of nature, hotel guests are well
looked after by highly trained and certified therapists and beauticians. They guide them along the
path towards their inner balance.

Location and Travel

From the North

Highway to Munich - change to the A95 (E533) Garmisch-Partenkirchen - from motorway end Eschenlohe follow the B2 to Klais and turn right - continue on to the private toll road Klais Elmau and the signs for "KRANZBACH."

From the South

Highway to Innsbruck (A) - the A12 in the (E60) to Exit Zirl - Continue on the B177 (E533), which passes from the border town Scharnitz in the B2 until after Klais and turn left - continue on the private toll road Klais Elmau and the signs for "KRANZBACH" follow.

From the East

Highway to Salzburg (A) - the A8 (E52) follow to exit Holzkirchen (Germany) - continue on the B13 to Bad Tölz - Turn B2 up to Klais and left - - B472 to Bichl - B11 up to Krün continue on the private toll road Klais Elmau and the signs for "KRANZBACH" follow.
