Cap Rocat is a former military fortress, hidden in the most secluded area of the bay of Palma de Mallorca. Blended into the landscape, this fortress has been totally refurbished without altering its unique architecture and its natural environment.
Different swimming areas, set up around the former pier, are all part now of a natural reserve.

The hotel  has 22 luxurious suites, with private patio or terrace, located on cliffs with a breathtaking view over the bay of Palma. They are equipped with stylish interior design and offer marble bathrooms, Mallorcan stone walls and a private patio.

In the design of the hotel, history has been involved in many details: bullets were converted to door handles and gun carriages serve as cocktail tables. The luxury suites were then munitions depot.

Furthermore there is an infinity swimming pool with salt water which is located on one of the walls of the former fortress with views over the whole bay of Palma. Cap Royal offers a couple of sport activities like a tennis court, yoga, a footing trail, cycling and water sports.
Even for golfers, the Cap Rocat is a good starting point: there are several good golf courses close to the hotel.

There are four different restaurants, including the Fortress restaurant, where you can enjoy mediterranean cusine under a tent roof. Or the Sea Club, an open air restaurant with Mallorcan cuisine. The historic kitchen is decorated in Mallorcan style and offers a wine cellar, where wine tasting and cooking courses take place. Breakfast can be served in the private courtyard. Moreover Rocat can arrange a romantic dinner in and around Cap Rocat, on request.

Location and Travel

The idyllic beach of Cala Brava is located in the south of S'Arenal. It's a small, about 30 meters long bay with fine white sand and clear water. There is no tourist infrastructure, so that nature can be enjoyed undisturbed.
